Until recently the previous somewhat "informal" photo on our web page was believed to be the only surviving image of the "Sad Sack" Snack Bar, owned by the Whittle family. However the above image, recently discovered in Australia, appears to be the originally commissioned and more formally posed photograph,  taken in front of the premises as a souvenier for Australian airman: James (Jim) Morris (centre, with his arm in a sling).
